TRAINING OF PROFESSIONAL DIVERS

Conditions for participation in the Class III Diver Training:

• Obtain a Medical Certificate authorizing underwater work.
• Confirmation of payment (advance payment) for training.

On the day of the start of the course, the participant must bring with him/her:

• Identity document
• Original medical certificate
• Diving suit
• Diving underwear (warm-up or tracksuit)
• Workwear

The Level III diver course consists of:

• Theoretical part (95 hours of lectures)
• Practical (123 hours of practice)

During the course, all theoretical issues and practical exercises required by the curriculum will be implemented.

The course is completed by a state exam. The exam consists of theoretical and practical parts. Therefore, the equipment and diving base used during the course are used during the exam.

Accommodation and meals are not included in the price of the training.

A Class III underwater work manager's diploma may be awarded to a person who has:

• Secondary or secondary industry education
• Class III diver's diploma
• At least two years of professional practice as a Class III diver (a period of at least 100 hours of combined underwater and artificially created elevated atmospheric pressure is considered to be one year of professional practice as a diver)
• Certificate of completion of training for a class III underwater work manager

Duration of training:

• Theoretical classes - 50 hrs.
• Practical classes - 46 hours.
• Consultation and follow-up classes - 20 hrs.

As a result of passing the examinations, the graduate receives a certificate of completion of the Underwater Work Manager Third Class Course, a certificate of passing the examination and the right to apply to the Maritime Office in Gdynia for the issuance of the Underwater Work Manager Third Class Diploma entitling him to direct underwater work at shallow depths.

On the day of the start of the course, the participant must bring with him/her:

• Identity document
• Diploma (minimum) of Class III Diver
• Confirmation of a minimum of 2 years of practice in underwater work
• Certificate of completion of at least high school
• Workwear

Course of training:

During the course all theoretical issues and practical exercises required by the curriculum will be implemented. Practical classes will be based on conditions as close as possible to the real performance of underwater work. Therefore, we will implement, among other things, planning, organizing and performing underwater work provided for in the curriculum, based on the legally required equipment to perform underwater work at shallow depths (wired and independent) and our diving team. Classes will be held, at vessels and hydro facilities.

The course is completed by a state exam. The exam consists of theoretical and practical parts, so during the exam the equipment, diving base and diving team used during the course are used.

Costs do not include: travel, accommodation and food during theoretical and practical classes.

To become a Class II diver you must:

• Have a class III diver's certificate
• In addition, have two years of documented work experience as a Class III diver
• Have a valid certificate of no contraindication to underwater work
• Pass all exercise requirements covered in the training program
• Pass the theoretical examination before the Qualification Commission for Divers of the Maritime Office in Gdynia.

As a result of passing the internal examinations, the graduate receives a certificate of completion of the Class II diver course. The certificate is an attachment to the application for an examination by the Qualification Commission for Professional Divers at the Maritime Office in Gdynia. After passing the exam, the diver applies for the issuance of a diver's booklet and a Class II diver's diploma authorizing him to perform underwater work.

On the day of the start of the course, the participant must bring with him/her:

• Identity document
• Original medical certificate
• Class III diver's diploma
• Proven two years of professional experience as a Class III diver
• Diving suit
• Diving underwear (warm-up or tracksuit)
• Workwear

The Class II diver course consists of:

• Theoretical part (50 hours of lectures)
• Practical (94 hours of exercises)

During the course, all theoretical issues and practical exercises required by the curriculum will be implemented. The course is completed by a state exam. The exam consists of a theoretical part.

Cost of the course: PLN 10,500

The condition for participation in the training is that the candidate must have:

• Secondary education
• A Class II diver's diploma and at least one year's work experience as a Class II diver or a Class III underwater manager's diploma and at least three years' work experience as a Class III underwater manager
• A period of at least 100 hours of combined underwater and artificially created elevated atmospheric pressure is considered to be the period of a diver's annual work experience.
• The period of at least 150 hours of directing underwater work is considered to be the period of annual professional practice of the underwater work manager

Duration of training:

• Theoretical classes - 52 hours.
• Practical classes - 40 hours.
• Consultations and follow-up classes - depending on the number of candidates and the degree of mastery of the material

To become a Class I diver you must:

• Have a class II diver's certificate
• In addition, have two years of documented work experience as a Class II diver
• Have a valid certificate of no contraindication to underwater work
• Pass all exercise requirements covered in the training program
• Pass the examination before the Qualification Commission for Divers of the Maritime Office in Gdynia.

To become a Class I manager you must:

• Have a class II diver's certificate
• Hold a Class II underwater manager's diploma
• In addition, have three years of documented work experience as a Class II diver
• Pass all exercise requirements covered in the training program
• Pass the theoretical exam before the Qualification Commission for Divers of the Maritime Office in Gdynia.

The cost of the course depends on the number of students and will be determined individually.

To become a saturation diver you must:

• Have a first class diver's certificate
• In addition, have one year of documented work experience as a Class I diver
• Have a valid certificate of no contraindication to underwater work
• Pass all exercise requirements covered in the training program
• Pass the theoretical examination before the Qualification Commission for Divers of the Maritime Office in Gdynia.

Scope of training:

Training to supplement program differences for divers with qualifications from the MSWIA is conducted in accordance with the requirements of the Act of October 17, 2003 on Underwater Work (Journal of Laws 2003 No. 199, item 1936) and the Regulation of the Minister of the Interior of August 07, 2015 on the qualifications of persons authorized to perform underwater work who have been authorized in organizational units subordinate to or supervised by the minister responsible for internal affairs.

Scope of training:

The course will include training at diver qualification levels III, II and I class.

The FROG Professional Diver Training Center conducts courses in accordance with the requirements of the Act of October 17, 2003 on Underwater Work.

Diver-welder training is organized according to PN-EN ISO 15618-1:2016: Qualification examination of welders for underwater welding. Part 1: Welder-divers welding wet in hyperbaric conditions.

To become a welder diver you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have at least a class III diver's certificate
• Have a valid health certificate
• Pass the practical examination before the Examiner from the Classification Society according to PN-EN ISO 15618-1:2002.

Graduates who pass the exam receive an International Underwater Welder Certificate

To become a dive systems operator you must:

• Complete the diving systems operators course
• Pass the examination before the Qualification Commission for Divers of the Maritime Office in Gdynia.
